Rhodey Readers is a book group for grades 3-5. We read the selected book ahead of the meeting, then get together to discuss the story and do a fun complimentary activity!
Readers can pick up a copy of this month's selection at the children's desk, to read ahead of time for our MAY meetup. We are reading Swim Team, a graphic novel by Johnnie Christmas, and a 2024 RI Children's Book Award nominee.
The first 8 kids to pick up their book get a copy to keep, thanks to the Friends of the Cumberland Public Library. However, if readers who pick up a copy do not attend the book club, they may not be able to get a free book for the next session.
FYI: This month we are meeting on WEDNESDAY, MAY 15th at 6:30 PM due to staffing changes the week prior. Please register ahead on our online calendar.
