Wheel of Fortune for Kids
It is Game Show Day in the Children's Room and we are ready to spin the wheel....Wheel of Fortune! Families may try their luck while using their word skills to solve the hidden puzzle. Register below for a slot to play the famous word game. We will play Wheel of Fortune from 11 am to 12 noon and then again from 2 - 3 pm. Time slots will be in 15 minute increments. Teddy Bear Sleepover
A sleepover in the Children's Room!? Yes, it's true. Join the staff of the Children’s Room at the Cumberland Library for a Teddy Bear Sleepover! This is a two part program for children ages 3-6; the first part taking place on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 6-7 pm when participants (who may wear their pajamas) will hear some fabulous bedtime stories, enjoy a snack, make a craft and then prepare a cozy napping area for their teddy bear or special stuffed animal. Rhodey Readers
Rhodey Readers is a book group for grades 3-5. We read the selected book ahead of the meeting, then get together to discuss the story and do a fun complimentary activity!
Readers can pick up a copy of this month's selection at the children's desk, to read ahead of time for our APRIL meetup. We are reading Singing with Elephants by Margarita Engle, a 2024 RI Children's Book Award nominee.
