Are you looking to learn more about what you can do with your computer, but are not sure where to begin? The library is offering three series of weekly computer workshops for adults. Each series offers opportunities to learn basic computer skills relating to Microsoft Office software or the use of various free tools available online. The schedule of sessions is as follows:

Tech Tuesdays
(all classes are 10 to 11:30)
April 10th--Introduction to the Internet
April 17th--Introduction to email
April 24th--Micrsoft Word
May 1st--Microsoft Excel
May 8th--Microsoft Excel 2
May 15th--Microsoft PowerPoint
May 22nd--Microsoft Publisher
May 29th--Free Downloadable eBooks
June 5th--Introduction to Facebook
June 12th--Microsoft Access

Sessions will include an interactive presentation as well as hands-on experience with the highlighted application. Participants are welcome to use one of the library's computers for any of these sessions or they can bring a laptop from home as long as the machine has the highlighted Microsoft Office programs and are WiFi capable.

The Providence Public Library offers a range of free computer classes. Some topics include: Microsoft Office Suite from beginner to advanced, Internet basics, blogging, Adobe Photoshop Elements, and buying and selling on eBay.
